Business Development Manager

Status: Full time Exempt

Base Salary: $50-60K, plus healthcare

Additional Incentive: No maximum – target payment $75k

Base of Operations: Milwaukee or surrounding area

Travel: Approximately 25% domestic

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing Information Security sales and/or profitability objectives by generating new clients and projects with local, regional and national companies. This position will identify marketplace opportunities, prospect and engage new client’s decision makers utilizing consultative sales, develop proposals, manage the contract process, and provide management regular status reports. The primary focus will be in the Information Security market. The position is also responsible for the overall management of several existing partnerships including the development of new revenue opportunities, and creating value added opportunities.

Responsibilities:

¨ Achieve or exceed assigned sales and/or profitability targets.

¨ Develop an understanding of all the company’s products, policies, and procedures.

¨ Prospect and develop new client relationships and value added opportunities with existing clients using a needs analysis/discovery meeting utilizing a consultative sales approach.

¨ Develop proposals and manage the contract process.

¨ Prepare weekly sales reports, activities and revenue reports.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:

¨ 5 to 7 years of Information Technology sales experience required.

¨ Experience selling consultative services required.

¨ Experience selling Information Security products or services a plus.

¨ Experience independently developing new markets required.

¨ Experience developing effective marketing campaign required.

¨ Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

¨ Ability to learn, understand, and sell advanced technological concepts and processes.

¨ Must be creative, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn.

¨ Superior business and negotiation skills.

¨ Ability and willingness to travel.

¨ Bachelors or advanced degree preferred.

¨ Self-motivated team member with a proven ability to work with aggressive individual and team sales goals.

¨ Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers.

¨ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
